Just like any other students, I began 2016 with new hopes and set targets for myself. Here I am again, in 2017 with fresh hopes and targets, new resolution, determination reignited. And I ask myself, am I really satisfied with all I did in 2016?. Did I really make the impacts I hoped to make in my immediate environment and with everybody around me?.
Did I really achieved above average of the goals I targeted for myself in 2016? Well, those are my personal problems. However, I was surrounded by and still surrounded by wonderful, pulchritudinous and ever conscious economists.
Those I've been rolling with right from day one in the department, those we've been working together ( whining business, doing assignments together, making those around us feel our impact, helping those around us to the best of our capabilities).
These are the people that made 2016 a memorable one for me and also assisted one way or the other in achieving my targets.
Lemme start from my ECONOMICS CLASS OF 17, I think I am very lucky to have these guyz in my life. Starting from Habeeb, Coded, Kareem, Bukunmi, Lateef, IBK, NAS, teemabill, shams, Lateef, Keita( pls we are missing you, resume quick👏👏), Ololo Fc, onward baba, akin, Isaac, Abdulrahman, Chicha of life🙌,otunba Youngin, CBC chairman alfa nureni, scholar majeed, to my two official wives in the department😊( Vickie and ayanfe🙈) and a to-be official wife( Ife😷), mhiz bee, busayo, fatimah, JMK accesories, tope, and the remaining economists of class 2017. You guyz have been so good to me, you guyz are the ones that made me go from the reserved and gentle boy I used to be( the guy that was always scratching his head due to shyness whenever his name is called in class) to the guy that is now known for whining, known for his willingness to work whenever his help is needed, known be living a very lively and funny life, and sometimes naughty. Thank you very much.
Next is my other gallant set of economists, the economics class of 18, at first, I think I disliked this set from the begining due to my perception of them being too proud, greedy and very selfish. However, moving close to them proved me wrong. Words cannot describe the love I have for these guyz. Special shootout to the underground whyners in this set, scholar Toheeb, Al Ameen, Ashraf, aims baba, baba shehu( saraki's PA🙈😀)to tophet, ever hardworking Samuel, pobcity, aleem, ridwan and to the unilag babe, Thelma, NENE( though I'm still yet to see you in school🙈) female scholars esteem, suleeeah, and that girl I collected and hate half of her boiled corn in the general office🙈.
Next is these set I call the Council Of scholars( C.O.S), these are the economics class of 19. Forget oo, these guyz sabi book die. My set used to be the most intelligent right from 2010 but when these guyz came in, they really murdered tests and examinations. Got close to so many of them and really learnt from them also. Special belated 2016 shootout to Jamiu,my male mouthpiece in the set during the campaign, ara my female mouthpiece, Afeez the arsenal fan, bolaji beejay, griezman the bully🙈,frizzy the blogger, scholar rancho, davisdo fopefoluwa, Afeez the accountant, scholar Hoppy, Doyin the slayer( met her when we went for the unilag conference, how will I forget the controversy himself- the antagonist, Hauwa, and co. You guyz are the best. And now to the freshest bosses in the department- the neoclassicalists,
the economics class of 2020😊🙌🙌. I think I am just too honoured to have known every single person in your set. Always wanting to go far ahead of the lecturer, ever ready to learn new things, and perhaps the most socialble set in the department🙌( you guyz should not fall my hand o☹). The support I have gotten from you guyz since we have been rolling together personally and interns of my post cannot be overemphasized. You guyz are really wonderful. Permit me to give a special 2016 shout out to the likes of the newest whyning lord, FRANCIS, emmaxie kiddie the ever growing rapper, Henry the leader, Mariam the pretty deputy leader, Ariyo my boss, Victor the God of soccer, Michael, Shamsudeen, sheriff dimple, the other handsome sheriff, Adebisi, useful, Haleemah, Robiat, zainab, oyin. Keep on doing what you know best, always keep believing and striving hard to be the best in any position you find yourself in. Thank you for the short 2016 we had together.
A special shoutout to those that think I am a backstabber, those that look at me like a stupid and naughty guy, those that think I always do as if I Dnt care or don't even greet at all, una Neva see anything oo, we just start am ni oo😎👌. Also, to those that think they can friendzone and toil with other people's heart, and those think they can husband zone someone and go scotfree, thumbs up oo. Its your job, just continue🤔☹.
